I'll add that Exalt Base Assault is a cakewalk if you have a couple of Hit-and-Runs (scout or assaults) with Jumpy Legs on the roof, the first one of which should be a scout with lightning reflexes and the chameleon suit. Jump down, shoot, jump up and out of sight on the rooftops. Rinse / Repeat. I agree that the Heavy Floater bosses are incredibly dangerous, but I've had pretty good results with mimic beacons. Ethereal whispering on the map still makes me break out in a sweat though, and makes me always want the blaster launcher so I can guarantee a shred/kill in one turn; these bastards are just too dangerous and all their attacks can really throw your squad into chaos, and their regeneration is insane. I'd rather let a muton elite flank my squad if it means guaranteeing a kill on the ethereal - let alone in pairs.
I still play LW from time to time. Good advice here, thanks for sharing.
thanks
